Tim Hansen is an experienced musician and educator located in Indianapolis, Indiana. He started learning guitar while in high school, and made it his lifestyle ever since. Originally from Cincinnati, Ohio, Tim’s love of music led him to Indiana University Jacobs School of Music, where he earned a bachelors in jazz studies. In addition to studying jazz guitar, Tim was privileged to perform in a variety of other ensembles, including the Latin Jazz Band, IU Soul Revue, Funk Almighty.
After graduating, Tim moved to his current home city of Indianapolis, where he works as an in-demand guitarist.. He performs most often with the award winning RnB band Be On It, and collaborates with many top artists. Proficient in many genres, he can also be found playing rock, blues, jazz, or gospel.
When he is not on stage, Tim is passionate about teaching. He enjoys working with and has expertise with any age, skill level, or style. His goal is to pass along his level of enthusiasm for music to his students.
