Ryan Donahue is a percussion performer, educator, and lifelong learner ready to inspire the next generation of musicians. He earned his Bachelor of Music Education degree from the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music (CCM), where he studied under professors James Culley and Rusty Burge.
At CCM, Ryan performed with the wind ensembles, orchestras, percussion ensembles, and steel drum ensembles. He studied the arts of orchestral percussion, jazz improvisation, and percussion history. He also participated in a plethora of masterclasses led by renowned percussionists that helped him foster a deeper appreciation for the full spectrum of percussion literature.
In his spare time, Ryan has taught multiple marching bands, front ensembles, and drumlines across Indiana and Ohio. Ryan enjoys learning a wide variety of two and four mallet repertoire on his mallet instruments at home. As a teacher, Ryan strives to make timeless musical memories with his students that will leave a lasting impact on their future.
