Congratulations to Zach L., who has earned Vibe's "Student Spotlight" in the month of July!

Zach is a student of David Evans. Here's what David had to say about Zach:

Zach recently earned a spot as a drummer at his school going into his freshman year! Zach is dedicated to improving his technique consistently and has proven it by that accomplishment. Zach impresses me every week with his commitment to attempting new challenges with confidence and determination until he successfully meets those challenges. One challenge in particular was his ability to play a coordination exercise using an alternate shuffle beat with LR-RL-LR-RL-LR. Another example is his ability to play a paradiddle split between his right foot and left hand while playing quarter notes with his right hand. Zach also has an outside the box creativity that compliments his developing individual style. I often come away from lessons with Zach learning something new myself from Zach's creative approach. Congratulations, Zach and keep up the good work!
